After all, as a buyer on eBay, how many times have you contacted a seller about a specific product, only to have that seller take a week to get back to you? It happens more often than not, doesn't it? This is a business that you have to get the little things done correctly, if you want to succeed. This means answering emails the moment you see them. Also, how many times have you bought something from a seller and you never hear back from them as far as when they shipped the item? This is just common sense. But many sellers don't do it. The moment I ship an item out, I send the buyer an email, notifying that I have done so, as well as give them their tracking confirmation. I know that as a buyer I would definitely appreciate that. Customers are so used to dealing with horrible customer service, they would be astonished at how quickly you got back to them. They may still be angry about the purchase, however they know that they are dealing with a professional, and whatever worries they had about that, will decipate.
